It is now four years that I study the ploblem of all those hudje lagoon areas. I decided to aplicate my few knowledge and to make participate the most numerus pationated people.
I am Captain on a very nice and luxurious crusing Catamaran of 57'. This unit is used as a Hotel base in the lagoons, and manely in the Tuamotu's. Moving to the fishing areas is made with a fast desplacement dinghy, giving more time for the action of fishing.
Fishing practicing can be very variegated: The BoneFisch more communly called io io in Polynesian, cought in the flats; All the reef fishes fished from the reef itself; The Milk Fish or Kanos Kanos not already hooked to day but very soon; And why not triying a trawling while joining an atoll to the other and catch a Maï Maï, a tuna or a Sail Fish. This allow you to eat the fresh fish of the day coocked by " Le Chef".

The fishing proposed in the area is not an intensive catch as we can have on some other places but a quality fishing. I would say that fishing in French Polynesia is a whole.It is the extreme beauty of the place, wild areas, even unhabited, and the variety of the fish that we can fly fish.
Voracity of some of them shows how so few flies pass by in front of their mouth.
Organisation on board allows for the one who come in couple many annex activities. Canoing, snorkling, and discovery of idyllic beaches.
The fact of living on the fishing areas and the great conviviality on board make the originality and big attract of this product.
