Tuamotu
Two main seasons in French Polynesia atolls of Tuamotu:
- Austral summer months of December to May, with Alizées mostly from East North East
- Austral winter from June to October. East to South East
The sun is much stronger in the Atolls: eight hours per day with a range of temperatures of four degrees.
You can fish all year round depending on weather conditions. The best chances are statistically November to June with preferences in November, March, April, May, June
The main catches are: Bonefish, Blue Trevalley, Triggerfish. Other tropical fish such as grouper, Napoleon, Job Fish get caught in deeper waters.
Fishing in ambush works well on the flats.
